| The Medical Exercise
Specialist (MES) is internationally recognized
by the medical and fitness communities as the standard
certification for fitness professionals working
with special population and post-rehab clients.
The Medical Exercise Specialist
offers advanced training for massage therapists,
exercise physiologists, nurses and personal trainers
who work closely with clients with neurologic, cardiovascular,
metabolic and musculo-skeletal disorders. This course
is the next step above the Essentials of Post Rehab
Fitness course. The MES covers more conditions in
greater depth and detail. This workshop allows you
to obtain the in-depth knowledge and skills in clinical
anatomy, biomechanics, post rehab protocols, pathology,
screening/assessment techniques for medical conditions
of the upper and lower extremities and the spine.
The workshop is divided into six packages which
are outlined below. The final MES exam is 200 written
questions and 10 case studies. The final MES exam
is also completed via DVD. There is no extra charge
for the final MES examination. |

MES Final Exam
You are able to take the MES Final Exam in your own
community. Simply find a licensed physician, chiropractor,
physiotherapist or nurse in your community to act
as a proctor. We will send the examination to the
proctor and you may take the exam in his or her office.
The Medical Exercise Specialist (MES) final exam consists
