You must meet
ONE of these four prerequisites to enroll in our Medical
Exercise Specialist, Essentials of Post Rehab Fitness
and/or Medical Exercise Program Director workshops:
1.
Personal Trainer certification
by a nationally recognized organization.
2.
A degree in a health or fitness
related discipline (i.e. physical education, nursing,
recreation or exercise physiology).
3.
One year of experience working
in a rehab setting under a licensed medical professional.
4.
Or currently licensed as a
physical therapist, chiropractor, massage therapist,
athletic trainer/therapist, nurse, physician, occupational
therapist or physician assistant.
A current valid CPR card
is mandatory.
Post Rehab Conditioning
Specialist Final Exam
You are able to take the PRCS Final
Exam in your own community. Simply find a licensed physician,
chiropractor, physiotherapist or nurse in your community
to act as a proctor. We will send the examination to them
and you may take the exam in his or her office.
The
Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist (PRCS) requires a
minimum 80% correct answers for certification as a Post
Rehab Conditioning Specialist
